Q:     Is Klezmerica right for my special event?

A:     The musicians of Klezmerica have performed at literally thousands of weddings, concerts, jazz clubs, theater musicals, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, banquets, corporate events, Broadway shows, and in every other kind of music performance situation you can imagine.  We are professionals both because we never lose our love for music and because we know our business.  Since the business of being a klezmer is to bring the joy of music to any situation, rest assured: if you have a wedding, a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, or any other celebration in mind, and you want world-class music to lift your celebration, we can bring it.  And as far as the business of picking the right music or type of music for each phase or moment of the event, once you've booked Klezmerica, you can relax.  Along with our musicianship, you receive our knowledge, experience, and huge repertoire.

Q:    Do you play anything besides the "hora"?

A:    Yes.  We are an acoustic music band.  Jewish music is actually much more diverse than most people realize, especially as we define it.  We play all varieties of the music most people think of as Jewish, and also most kinds of jazz, from old-time to the hippest and most modern.  But our fans insist we do the best Hava Nagilah! they've ever heard..

Q:    Do you play rock and roll?

A:    No. Nor hip-hop, or other varieties of electrified music.  We play acoustic music.. 

Q:    Do you have singers? 

A:    You can book us without a singer or with.   Most book us without and are thrilled with the result.
